Norton Mobile Security is a mobile app that provides users’ network and location privacy.
Business Needs
There was a need to increase the market value of Norton mobile apps by expanding its products. Having the Norton Wifi Privacy will ensure Norton stays competitive in the security space. To do this, we skin our UI on a 3rd party app that we acquired.
User Needs
This app provides users with a safe way to hide their connected IP address and location.

Overview
This was a brand-new app idea driven by the product team. In this project, the real challenge was not developing the product itself, but how we could skin the Norton UI, on top of a product built by a 3rd party. Collaboration with outside stakeholders was the key.

How might we design a Norton app on a 3rd party product?
Re-design the UI
We had control over the UI of the app. The 3rd party engineers were able to build based on what we desired. I started with the idea of layout, then move towards coming up with a few ideas of home page.
